Very Proud! Cynthia's My Vintage Hut is not only a good lookin' site, but also very popular (more exposure, wink wink!) I feel honored to be pictured amongst a lot of other pretty gals and pretty hair accessories!

Would you recommend the contest to other gals?

Of course, and I have! The suspense of seeing the votes fluctuate until the contest's end was a lot of fun! Not to mention I met some pretty great gals who entered the contest at the same time as I!

Why did you enter the contest?

Again, for the "fun" aspect. I actually debated entering for a while. I'm glad I did!

How long have you been modeling? How did you get started?

I've been doing retro-style modeling for about seven years now. It was actually my mom's idea! For my first shoot, I got to wear a beautiful floral and fringe 1920s dress that actually belonged to silent film star, Norma Deane!

Where are you at with your modeling career? Has the contest helped?

I am currently trying to build my portfolio and start up a website. I have a few surprises up my sleeve that I'm eager to show off to everyone. All in good time, though... :-)
I feel the contest did help. Any bit of exposure does! A lot of people tell me "Oh, you're Miss April on the My Vintage Hut pinup page". I love hearing stuff like that! :-)

How has our accessories helped? Have you gotten compliments wearing them? Have you used them for recent photo shoots?

I always love wearing a flower in my hair-- it looks feminine and classy, and finishes off my look. I don't know where I would be without one! I always get compliments when I wear them-- especially the bright red hibiscus. They look the most authentic out of all of the ones I have.
I haven't used any of my "My Vintage Hut" flowers for recent shoots (I only have three, I should buy more, huh?). I really haven't had any outfits to match the MVH flowers that I have... but I do now and am eager to take some more photos. I will pass them along as soon as they're done!
