Aloha! When I pulled these beautiful, angellically white Gardenia Sticks from their package, I was absolutely blown away by their beauty and most certainly longing to be on the beach of a Hawaiian Island. Each flower is of a perfect size and color. The green, glossy leaves are so reminiscent of a real Gardenia, it's amazing. I just adore the bamboo sticks, as well. I guess I didn't notice that the sticks were bamboo when I ordered them and was so pleasantly surprised. It is such an elegant and perfect touch. They remind me of a vintage Hawaiin/Polyneisan accessory of yesterday and make me long to put me toes in the warm sand and feel the warm tropical breeze blow through my upswept hair. I just love to wear them as a trio with my Single Cream Gardenia. I'll put my hair up in a clip and place the Gardenia sticks on one side and the Single Cream Gardenia on the other and I'm instantly transformed and wanting to do a Hula dance. For a long time I've been obsessively searching for a peach flower hair clip. I wanted a peach water lily, but I decided this was close enough seeing as finding a peach flower of any kind is a rare find. After seeing the price, I was little disappointed but after receiving it I could see that in this case I definitely got what you payed for. I have bought many hair accessories and this is without a doubt the highest quality hair flower I've ever purchased. It's beautiful, it's well made, it slides in my hair easily and stays in place, and it actually stays put together. So many of the other flower hair clips I bought from other manufacturers were hastily glued and ended falling apart after the first time I wore them. I realize this review is way overdue. I bought this back in January for my cousin's wedding, and when I received it in the mail my purchase came with a cute unexpected Christmas card. I don't know if you remember me, but I ordered 5 of your single red hibiscus flowers back in the summer for my wedding. I promised you back then that I would send you a picture of the eventful day and here they are! I know it's somewhat late but I had to send you a picture. Looking forward to the new batch of flowers. I wanted to tell you that finding your site has been a real treat. I bought my first hair flower from a boutique in New Orleans back in April. It's pretty, but it's small and obviously fake. (And $10!) Still, I just loved it and always got compliments whenever I wore it, so I went on a quest to find more. You just wouldn't believe how hard they are to find (then again, I guess you would, seeing as how you've made a business out of it *laugh*) I live in Los Angeles for cryin' out loud and wasn't having any luck at all. There's a huge retro contingent here. You would think the stores would be overflowing with the darn things. But all I could ever find were big, ugly, fake looking flowers on pony tail holders. Bleech. And when I went online, all I could find were bridal companies. As if the only time anyone might want to wear a flower in their hair was when they were getting married! I had just about given up when I stumbled on your site through another retro site. I couldn't believe what a selection you had, and when they arrived and looked so real, I just couldn't have been happier. As to why I love my flower: it adds the perfect touch of style and glam to any of my vintage outfits. I ALWAYS wear it when I go swing or rockabilly dancing, and it makes me feel like the perfect pin-up queen! People always compliment me on it, and I am generally referred to as "the girl with the flower in her hair" as it has become my signature! I even wear it when I'm not dressed up in vintage - it looks gorgeous with a sweet little dress or with a ponytail and jeans! I usually wear it over one ear with a deep side part, but also wear it as a ponytail clip and pinned into the center (or on one side) of a fancy up do. I have very fine hair, but the clip holds just great. I couldn't love any accessory more! Picture was taken at a very fancy hangar dance in San Marcos, Texas (thus the WWII bomber in the background!)
